Faculty

Who teaches at Wells Tech Academy

Faculty at Wells are practitioners with published teaching responsibilities — not decorative profiles. This page explains our academic standards and names those currently in published leadership roles.

Teaching Philosophy

Practitioners who teach live.

Wells Tech Academy teaches through live formation. Faculty lead sessions, review work, and assess against published standards — they do not lend their name to pre-recorded content libraries.

Industry experience alone is not sufficient. Faculty must commit to structured delivery, consistent feedback, and the academic responsibilities defined for each programme.

How sessions, labs, and review cycles work in practice is published on the Learning Experience page. This page explains who may teach and the standards they must meet.

Trust in teaching comes from live instruction, faculty-led assessment, and the published Graduation Standard — not from the number of profiles on a page.

Faculty Standards

What Wells requires of those who teach.

Every person published as faculty must meet these standards. They apply across delivery modes and programmes unless a programme page states a specific requirement.

Active professional practice
Faculty teach from current or recent engineering practice — not from theory alone.
Live instructional commitment
Faculty lead scheduled live sessions and are available for structured learner support within published cohort models.
Faculty-led assessment
Submitted work is reviewed against the Graduation Standard. Assessment is not automated or outsourced.
Published academic responsibility
Each published faculty member has a defined teaching or programme leadership role — not a generic title.
Institutional conduct
Faculty model the professional conduct expected of learners: punctuality, preparation, feedback quality, and accountability.
