Enrolment Terms & Conditions

These Enrolment Terms & Conditions ("Enrolment Terms") apply when you enter into a contract with Wells Media & Technology Academy Ltd trading as Wells Tech Academy ("we", "us", "our") for participation in a programme.

They apply in addition to our Website Terms, Privacy Policy, and Refunds & Cancellations policy. In the event of conflict, the enrolment contract and these Enrolment Terms prevail for programme delivery matters.

By accepting an offer of enrolment or paying programme fees, you agree to these Enrolment Terms.

• "Learner" — the individual enrolled on a programme.
• "Programme" — the structured course of study, including curriculum, delivery, assessment, and support services described in the programme specification and enrolment documentation.
• "Cohort" — the group of learners commencing study on a defined start date.
• "My Academy" — our learner platform providing access to learning materials, submissions, communications, and related services.
• "Delivery Mode" — in-person, live online, or hybrid delivery as specified at enrolment.

A contract is formed when we confirm your enrolment in writing (including email) and you pay any required deposit or fees, or when you otherwise accept our written offer of a place.

Programme descriptions on our website are invitations to apply, not binding offers. Final programme details, fees, and delivery arrangements are confirmed at enrolment.

We will deliver the Programme with reasonable skill and care, in accordance with the published curriculum, timetable, and delivery mode agreed at enrolment.

Programmes include structured instruction, practical work, assessments, mentorship, and institutional support as described in programme documentation.

We may make reasonable adjustments to schedules, faculty, venues, or delivery methods where necessary for operational, safety, or academic reasons. Material changes will be communicated to affected learners.

• Attend scheduled sessions and participate actively in learning activities.
• Complete assignments, projects, and assessments by published deadlines.
• Maintain professional conduct towards staff, mentors, and fellow learners.
• Ensure you have suitable equipment and internet connectivity where required.
• Keep login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any security concern.
• Comply with academic integrity standards — plagiarism, cheating, and misrepresentation are prohibited.
• Provide accurate information during application and enrolment.

Programme fees are as stated in your enrolment confirmation or payment plan schedule.

Fees must be paid in accordance with the agreed schedule. We may suspend access to learning services where fees are materially overdue, following reasonable notice.

Fees do not include personal equipment, travel, accommodation, or third-party software licences unless expressly stated.

Enrolled learners receive access to My Academy and programme materials for the duration of enrolment and any defined post-completion access period we specify.

Materials are provided for your personal educational use only. You must not share, resell, or publicly distribute proprietary curriculum content without our written consent.

We may suspend or revoke access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that threatens the learning environment.

Progression through the Programme depends on meeting attendance requirements, completing deliverables, and satisfying assessment standards described in programme documentation.

Academic decisions — including assessment outcomes, remediation, and progression — are made by our academic team in accordance with published standards.

Certificates or completion credentials are issued only where programme requirements are met.

We maintain a professional learning environment. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behaviour, or academic misconduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of enrolment without refund where the breach is serious.

We will follow a fair process proportionate to the circumstances, including an opportunity to respond where practicable.

We retain ownership of curriculum materials, platform content, and institutional resources provided during the Programme.

You retain ownership of original work you create, subject to our right to use anonymised examples for quality assurance and institutional showcase with your consent or where already public.

Joint project work may be subject to separate IP arrangements communicated at the time of the project.

Nothing in these Enrolment Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We do not guarantee specific employment outcomes. Career support is provided in good faith but does not constitute a promise of employment.

Our liability for breach of contract is limited to the fees paid for the affected portion of the Programme, except where a higher minimum applies by law.

If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under UK law. Nothing in these Enrolment Terms affects those rights.

These Enrolment Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to your statutory rights.
